Hey - guess what? It's almost back-to-school time. Incredible, but true. In the next few Show and Tell Me newsletters, we will be highlighting products and services to help all of us get back into the swing of the school year.

Packed lunches are the best. You know that they are. You can provide food that is healthier - higher in all the good stuff, lower in all the bad stuff. You will know where it came from. You will know it is balanced. You will know that it has a food that fits your definition of a vegetable in it. (At the end of this email, we have listed some sites with ideas for packed lunches.) | While it's good for the kids, we don't need to be spending time, money and calories on a restaurant lunch ourselves.
|
But how to carry the lunch? Style is critical, as we all know. Built NY (www.builtny.com) makes the absolute coolest bags going. The bags are made of neoprene rubber, just like wetsuits. They close with a big, sturdy zipper. They are bold, solid colors in either knockout brights or minimalist neutrals. |

Aside from the cool factor, these lunchbags do the job. The neoprene is an excellent insulator, so they keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Not in the same compartment, of course. It stretches, so you can fit a variety of different-sized containers inside. They store flat, so they don't take up a lot of room in the cabinet. |
BuiltNY lunchbags are snazzy enough and interesting enough that they will fit anyone from a young teen through your sophisticated self. Bon appetit!
