Design My World (www.designmyworld.net) is a UK-based seller of modern home accessories. Their goal is to sell the classics of tomorrow. We love their whimsical and cheerful accessories. We also love the fact that many of their pieces are not found in the United States. Some of our favorite things from Design My World will add a pop to your home. We suggest that you check out the mouthblown Swing Vase, which comes in small, medium or large in bright primary colors. The Vase Maker is fun and different. It sits on top of any vessel and turns it into a vase for an architectural blossom or branch. Another ceramic we find intriguing is the lap mug. The wedge bottom to the mug is made to nestle in your lap as you sit on the sofa or lounge in an easy chair. No awkward balancing of this mug on your knee! The Shed Hook will provide a little home for the essentials you take with you when you leave the house. The hook can hold your coat and purse, the interior can hold your keys and the top can hold your sunglasses. Slip your letters or catalogues into the slot in the back of the shelf. We can see an excellent use for these in an office, giving each employee a dedicated spot for personal items. We also like the idea of hanging a Shed Hook for each member of the family. In the evening, Shed Hooks will reduce clutter. In the morning, everyone will be able to find those purses, backpacks, jackets and need-them-today papers. Design My World has many other fun and inexpensive touches for the home and the office, from an Afterdark Duck (that will add a glow to your bathtub) to a liquid mousepad, Jerry's Revenge, where your mouse can chase the cats for a change! We think that the Sparkly Chandelier would be a dazzling addition to a teenager's room, and it is inexpensive enough that when your teen's whims  change you won't be saddled with a high-priced white elephant. Most of the items at Design My World are very moderately priced. We would only caution you to keep an eye on the shipping costs. Design My World calculates the costs by weight, and once you put an item in your cart they tell you right away what the shipping charges will be. For us Americans, they also show their prices in dollars. We can't ask for fairer than that.
