Well, Girlfriends, your dreams have come true in myShape (www.myshape.com). myShape combines your personal measurements and style preferences to suggest clothing just right for you. The only tough hurdle comes right upfront. To set up an account, you need to enter your real, honest body measurements. There

are a lot of them. It is difficult to measure all of these places accurately by yourself. You are going to need either a very close and trusted friend or someone with absolutely no idea what someone like Barbie would measure (if she were real). For that matter, models and starlets, who aren't real, either. (OK, deep breath) Anyway. The very nice folks at myShape.com suggest not calling out the measurements, just writing them down. No tape measure? They'll even send you one if you write to them. Alex did find that if she put some two-sided tape on one end of the tape measure she could take the circumference measurements herself.

Whew. That's done. Now for the fun part. Answer some questions about your style preferences and then click on myShop. Look at all of the clothes! They all will fit you! myShape is so confident the clothes will fit that the shipping is free both ways. Yes. Both ways. The price you see is the price you will pay. Plus, when you click on "more details" about a piece, the care instructions are right there. At this point, a lot of the clothing is not categorized by color palette. Just don't click on that part of the page, because you won't see

many clothes. The site is still being developed, and it's labeled as a beta site. However, with the free shipping both ways you can try the clothing out for yourself.

The site has lots more helpful information. They provide style trends and advice on determining your best colors. Designer profiles summarize the outlook of each designer. You can then search by a designer that interests you.  If you have questions about measurements, styles or anything else, you may either telephone or use Live Chat on the site. We're Live Chat types, and the response is a little slow. That's always OK with us, as we can do other work while we're waiting for our operator. Getting an answer over the telephone was quick, easy and friendly.
