Stupid name. Good product. The excellent little vases from Wonder Vase (www.wondervase.com) really are handy little suckers. We first came across them when a friend brought some get-well flowers. She slipped a Wonder Vase in with her card, amazing all with its niftiness. |
The special thing about this vase is that it stores as flat as a couple of sheets of paper. When you need the vase you fill the Wonder Vase with warm water. Shape it into the shape you desire and then fill it with cool water. Presto! You have yourself a vase. When the flowers are finished you can fill the vase with warm water and flatten it out again. Repeat process as the bouquets roll in.
| We don't buy their claims that the Wonder Vase is as beautiful as fine crystal. We'll keep the cut glass, thank you very much. However, we have had enough of cheap vases that come with a flower arrangement. We use these vases when we give gifts of flowers. They are so perfect with flowers for hospital patients that we think they should be a requirement. If you carry one when you travel, you can brighten up your anonymous hotel room with flowers. |

Now, you can buy the Wonder Vase from a variety of websites. The Official Wonder Vase website is not particularly elegant. The big "as seen on TV" label is not usually a part of a Tell Me Girlfriend recommendation. But wait! The price you get on this site is better than you will get on other sites. And you will receive a Free Gift! Of course! At seven for only $19.99 (plus shipping and handling) you can easily include one with your next bouquet.
Your be-flowered Girlfriends,
Suzanne and Alex
