You have heard, or you already know, that to grow the best varieties of vegetables and flowers you need to start from seed.  Even if you haven't heard that before, now you have read it and it is absolutely true.  At Tell Me Girlfriend, we have directed you to some great sources for seeds.  Today, we are writing you about the fantastic seed starting system from Gardener's Supply Company, the APS (Accelerated Propagation System). Follow the instructions on the website and your seeds will grow. We are big seed-starters, and we have had (properly stored) seeds that were several years old sprout without a problem. We will caution you that you will need more light than you can get in the window of a house, but the helpful articles at Gardener's Supply will set you straight This is an exciting time of year, when we can imagine the bounty of our gardens in summer. Very little is more intoxicating than reading seed descriptions (OK, so we really like to garden!).
